We were so excited to try this spot. Upon walking in no one greeted us to seat us. We seated ourselves and were served by Reinier. What a terrible experience. Very unwelcoming attitude- We ordered an almond croissant as well as two slices of quiche. We got one slice of quiche. My quiche was watery and overly cheesy with grease, the pastry at the base was clearly not blind-baked because it was soggy and raw like clay. The side salad consisted of two slices of cucumber, one cocktail tomato and lettuce. We then decided to try something else so we ordered two baguettes. Pale, old crumbly bread and ingredients slapped on. I don’t often write negative reviews. But nothing about our experience was positive. After waiting ages for our cheque, Reinier grinned as he told us you don’t accept apple pay or amex, almost as if he took pleasure in the inconvenience. I have worked in the service industry for 11 years. If you have no desire to be welcoming towards guests then don’t work in the industry.

Cute and Quaint Cafe. The Capris salad was delicious. I'm not a fan of their onion soup. Bland, no onion taste... more to comment but will reserve for one more try at the onion soup on a better chef day.

My husband and I were really flabbergasted by the reception we got at this place. I walked in looking to see if they had a particular pastry, which I didn't see. No one even bothered to ask if I needed assistance. My husband walked in and asked the young woman behind the counter for what we were looking for. She couldn't have cared less about responding or having us buy anything. I asked a couple of questions about what they had and she gave some pretty ridiculous answers. Her vibe was just so bad we kind of said maybe she hasn't seen black humans before. It was not inviting at all and clearly we were not welcome. But after readying the other negative reviews, I see this is not unusual.

I Hate leaving bad reviews. Used to love this place a but I won’t be going back. 1 Breakfast sandwich, some scrambled eggs, 4 crepes, 3 pastries, coffee and Tea was $92 not including tip. I took one sip of the weakest French roasted coffee I have ever had and walked down to the “ Daily Grind “ coffee shop for a real cup of coffee and walked back. The food and service was fine, but certainly not worth the value paid.

We enjoy stopping in for lunch. Slow service so keep that in mind. I was so excited ordering the soft boiled egg with Swiss cheese served in a crockpot bowl. But the egg was hard boiled so that was a disappointment. Amazing sandwiches. Prosciutto with the goat cheese & peppers on a baguette is my husband’s favorite. Also enjoyed the Turkey goat cheese panini. And excellent French onion soup.

Really beautiful small place, you come on in and sit wherever you find a spot, the server will come with the menu, I had the crepes and were so good, the hot chocolate was good, the orange juice it says fresh but it comes from the gallon. But food really good, I will come back to eat again for sure. The decor it is really nice too. If you have the chance you should come to dine in at least one time.

Food is actually great, eggs are fluffy, pastries are pretty tasty, and it’s nice to sit outside, but it’s SO slow. Every time I come there’s literally 5 people serving tables and they do absolutely nothing. All the tables outside are always empty and full of garbage all over the table bc servers are too lazy to do their job. Only one person takes orders even when it’s busy and the other servers are doing nothing, people just wait and wait for one person. Please tell managers to clean this backwards run operation up. Anyone with half a brain can come here and make this run a million times more efficient.
